Serene art with a touch of controversy

Der Maler Gerhard Richter ist am Freitag (03.02.2012) zu Gast auf einer Pressekonferenz anlässlich der Eröffnung der Ausstellung "Gerhard Richter Atlas" im Lipsiusbau in Dresden. Die unter diesem Werktitel zusammengefassten 783 gerahmten Tafeln aus dem Münchner Lenbachhaus enthalten Fotografien, Zeitungsausschnitte, Skizzen und Entwürfe, die Richter seit den frühen 60er-Jahren für seine Arbeit im Atelier zusammengetragen hat. Die Dresdner Schau ist eine der beiden großen Präsentationen in Deutschland zu Richters 80. Geburtstag am 9. Februar. In der Neuen Nationalgalerie in Berlin öffnet am 12.
