A Musical Voyage of Discovery: Mediterannean Music

Green mountain landscapes, soft sandy beaches and romantic bays are the hallmarks of the islands that sit like precious pearls strung across the crystal-blue sea between Spain's east and Italy's west coast.
After sampling the mystique of I Muvrini, we'll drift from Corsica to Sardinia to hear a typical "su tenore" choir and the famous singer Elena Ledda. In Sicily, you’ll hear controversial Mafia songs and joyful tarantella dances. And finally, you’ll learn things you didn't already know about the Spanish Island of Mallorca from the diva of Mallorcan folklore, Maria del Mar Bonet.
