Can I watch DW-TV on cable TV in Germany?
Deutsche Welle is Germany's international broadcasting service with the statutory assignment to broadcast its programs for people living abroad.
DW-TV is not available in German cable networks as Germany definitely is not our target area.
Nevertheless we have many viewers in Germany who watch our programs via satellite or via our website. Neither satellite footprints nor shortwave signals can be contained within national borders and media coverage on the internet is available world-wide.
