I have trouble watching content on dw.de without constant interruptions. Video streaming does not work. Videos pause, stop, do not load. Why?

DW offers all live and on demand videos in different bandwidths: low (60 kb/s), medium (450 Kb/s), high quality (1024 Kb/s). Should a video not run well, try to adjust the bandwidth.

This problem could also be triggered by settings on your PC/device. For this reason, please check the following settings on your computer:

• Do you have the latest version of Flash Player / Windows Media Player installed on your PC?
• Do you have multiple screens installed so the pop-up player appears on a different screen?
• Is the pop-up blocker on your browser activated preventing the player to appear?

Should these measures not bring a solution, it could also be the bandwidth of your Internet connection. In order to play videos smoothly, we recommend a minimum bandwidth of 1Mb/s. In this case please contact your Internet service provider.
