The Balkans are always full of surprises when it comes to politics. Sure enough, voters did the unexpected at last weekend’s election, swinging towards the pro-Western camp, led by President Boris Tadic.
To form a new government, he needs the support of the Socialist Party – once led by the late Slobodan Milosevic. But what happened to the very popular Radicals, who are so against Serbia’s efforts to join the European Union?
