German Managers – Might and Machinations
Scandals in top German companies are piling up. Now it seems that Deutsche Telekom has spied on its managers, supervisory board members, and journalists.
The public prosecutor is investigating. Siemens has apparently been giving kickbacks worth millions and carmaker Volkswagen was shown to have taken its works council on pleasure trips. Our reporter Carmen Meyer wonders whether this is coincidence, or whether there's more to these scandals than meets the eye.
