A Futuristic Shopping Experience Tested in Germany

The competition in Germany's retail sector is fierce. Discount supermarket chains and a wide variety of warehouses and stores try to attract customers with competitive prices and special offers.

The Metro Group, one of the market leaders in Germany, believes that consumers are not only looking for good bargains but also efficient service and an enjoyable shopping experience.

Last week, a futuristic store opened in the small western German town of Toenisvorst. There, marketing experts are testing concepts for the shopping experience of the future.
