What do the world’s various cultures, what do their religious traditions, all have in common? Among other things, music. Exploring that theme is the festival Musica Sacra International based in Marktoberdorf, about a hundred kilometres south of Munich and on the edge of the Alps. The ninth annual musical summit of the world’s religions presented a fascinating array of international artists and musical traditions it would be difficult to hear anywhere else.
