Arts on the Air: Cultural Happenings Across Europe

If you're a Culture Vulture, then you can't afford to miss the weekly prize-winning cultural magazine Arts on the Air -- recently named as one of the top-ten best radio programs world-wide.

This half-hour program brings you the latest art happenings in Europe with reviews, reports, portraits and interviews. "Arts on the Air" is broadcast on Wednesdays. You can also listen to the audio stream here on the Internet.

Hosted by Australian-born musician and culture vulture Breandáin O'Shea, and produced by Gudrun Heise, "Arts on the Air" keeps you in tune with Europe's vibrant cultural life.

Join guests like Daniel Barenboim and Doris Lessing, enjoy reviews of the latest art exhibitions and films, music from the German classical, jazz and pop scene, and reports on the latest productions on theater and opera stages across Europe.

"Arts on the Air" was named in the top-ten programs to listen to in 2007 in the renowned short wave radio guide Passport to World Band Radio. "Arts on the Air" also received a Gold Medal for Arts Programs in the New York Festivals International Radio Competition.
