Deutsche Welle’s television studios are concentrated in Berlin. Germany’s international broadcaster, DW-TV, provides news, background information and cultural highlights in German and English around the clock using satellite and the Internet. There is also programming in Arabic and Spanish.
DW-TV is present in more than 210 million households, with some 103 million of them able to receive DW-TV 24 hours per day.
More than 28.5 million watch DW-TV at least once a week. The programming appeals to individuals abroad who are interested in Germany and Europe – especially those who disseminate information and decision makers. In addition, DW-TV is important to Germans who live abroad as well as individuals who are interested in the German language.

DW-TV Partner Stations
Stations in target areas receive DW programs and rebroadcast them.
That applies to offers from DW-TV as well as those from DW-RADIO - in German and all of the other DW languages. Partner stations throughout the world take either the entire range of programming or just parts.
Rebroadcasting via satellite
DW-TV uses a satellite network to broadcast programming 24 hours per day, seven days a week. This includes news, series and documentaries, with the language switching between German and English every hour. For viewers in Latin America, DW-TV also broadcasts an additional two hours of news and information in Spanish each day. For the Arab world, DW-TV uses Nilesat to exclusively offer current news, series and documentaries in Arabic three hours a day.
Cable networks and television stations around the world can access DW-TV programming directly from satellite. Rebroadcasting from partner stations can occur terrestrially, via cable, satellite or with IP-TV and mobile TV.
