Volunteers Fighting Corruption in Nigeria
Nigeria is one of the world’s leading exporters of oil. The West African country produces more than 2 million barrels a day. But for decades the country’s elite has creamed off the proceeds leaving their citizens mired in poverty.
There are few places in the world where corruption is more endemic than Nigeria. But now there’s a new frontline in the fight against corruption and bribery in the country. Richard Lough has been finding out what chances it has of succeeding.
