Teenagers Face Many Problems in Iraq
Even the simple act of going to school is a major challenge in today's Baghdad. The ongoing conflict heavily impacts on the children of Iraq.
The news from Iraq is rarely good – usually the media report on suicide bombings, abductions, and more and more people fleeing their homes. But young people rarely feature in the news. The UN children's organisation Unicef is warning that conflict has defined the lives of an entire generation of Iraqi children, many of whom struggle simple to get to school safely.
