The Tour de France and 'Team Clean'
The Tour de France has been dubbed the Tour de Farce for making a joke of the sport of cycling. Repeated drug scandals have left fans thinking that every cyclist is a drug user unless proven otherwise.
But that could change this year with the addition of a squad that’s come clean. Team Garmin-Chipotle -- based in Spain and the U.S. – voluntarily tests its cyclists about once a week using an independent laboratory. The team hopes its rigid testing system will help win back disillusioned fans and sponsors. Nancy Greenleese reports.
