Dutch Author Margriet de Moor (Interview)
Margriet de Moor ‘s reputation was enhanced by the success of Three Novellas, for which she was awarded the Van der Hoogt Prize.
The acclaimed Dutch writer Margriet de Moor was born in 1941. She is a singer and pianist by training, but achieved early recognition as an author in the Netherlands with the publication of her first work of fiction, the 1988 short-story collection titled Seen at the Back. De Moor's books have been translated into over 20 languages, and the titles include - First Gray, Then White, Then Blue, for which she won the 1994 Ako Literary Prize, The Virtuoso, The Kreuzer Sonata and the Duke of Egypt.
