Ute Soldierer
Ute Soldierer is the face of film on DW-TV. Since 2003, she has been the host of KINO. From Berlin, Venice, Cannes, Tokyo or Los Angeles, from all most important national and international film festivals, Ute Soldierer is there, together with the KINO team, reporting on the German film scene.
Ute Soldierer studied education, psychology and sociology at Cologne University. She went to acting school in London, taking voice and singing training and performed on stage and television. She has worked as a TV moderator and host since 1996. In 1997, she was voted Germany's best-loved children's TV host.
Ute Soldierer's passion is travel, especially with her son and his father. She loves Japanese cuisine and, like the characters in her favorite TV show "Sex And
The City" Ute is passionate about beautiful shoes.
