Drive it! put both cars on the stand to see how well they perform even after a few years of regular use.

admire it! Porsche GT3

Porsche fans who want a big wing on the tail need look no further than the GT3. This Porsche is not so much a sports car as a full-fledge racing car.

In addition to the huge wing, the car boast 435 horsepower, a top speed of 310 km/h, and 0 to 100 km/h in a breathtaking 4.1 seconds. The GT3 is a car designed for a very rare, very demanding kind of customer - the driver who places performance ahead of driving comfort.

Proponents forecast a revolution is under way that will change how people travel. But there are also skeptics, who point out that a practical electric car still hasn't hit the market. At the moment, the batteries still represent about 40 percent of an electric car's price, and these batteries won't even last as long as the vehicle. Drive it! looks at how far electric cars have come as well as what can still be done to make conventional engines even more environmentally friendly.
