Growers and researchers in laboratories and experimental kitchens are creating the menu of the future. It is supposed to make humans healthier, more attractive and more intelligent. In the genetic engineering and nano-technology age the way in which we produce and consume our food will change radically. Foods will be equipped with more and more functions that are programmed at a molecular level. But are consumers willing to accept these foods?
