Alfred Herrhausen The Banker and the Bomb
Alfred Herrhausen was one of the most influential men in Germany, even in Europe, as the spokesman of the Deutsche Bank’s board of directors: a top manager with top connections to politics, but also a banker who was politically farsighted. Even 20 years after his assassination the investigators don’t really have anything to go on. His murder is material for speculation that leans either towards Red Army Faction terrorists or suggests a link with former East Germany’s infamous secret police, the Stasi.
