Search
To start a search, please enter one or more keywords in the query form and then click on the "search" button. You can only search in one language at a time. When entering several keywords at once, only pages containing all the key words appear. You can limit a search by adding keywords. The search engine is not case sensitive.
You can type in punctuation marks (e.g. ? or ") when using the DW-WORLD search engine.
A question mark (?) can be used to indicate if a particular character is of no importance. Example: "?op" will list results containing the letters "op".
Search terms that are surrounded by quotation marks ("") will only generate results which include the exact combination and sequence of search terms. Example: If you type "Deutsche Welle", you will only find listings in which "Deutsche" is directly followed by "Welle".
When using the search function at the top of the page, the initial query only looks for matches in the title of an article. If you want to execute a full text search, please click through to the advanced search formula where you can enter a time frame and a specific category.
Socialbookmarks
"Share" DW-WORLD articles with Social Bookmarking
Have you read an article recently on DW-WORLD that you want to share with the world? Now you can with our new Social Bookmarking feature.
DW-WORLD readers can click on one of the graphic buttons on the bottom of any article to link the story to a variety of bookmarking sites.
Social Bookmarking is a relatively new technology that has changed the way people experience the Web by allowing users to store, classify, rate, comment on and search links to any website or blog.
DW-WORLD offers bookmarking to del.icio.us, Digg, MyYahoo!, Newsvine, Furl and Socializer.
Once an article is linked back to one of these sites, other users can then read it as well as post comments and related links. Instead of a search engine, you can find interesting links through a site's community of users, thereby transforming navigation of the Internet into a "social" experience.
We encourage everyone to visit the sites listed above to learn more about their Social Bookmarking features. Each offers a similar but distinct interface to fulfil your net navigation needs. So start sharing!
In the near future, DW-WORLD will be integrating new features into the site to allow more interaction with our users. If you have any suggestions or comments please click on the feedback link below.
