A Dangerously Tasty Surprise?

Despite their popularity around the world, German lawmakers are considering banning Kinder Surprise Eggs due to safety concerns, German media reported Thursday, Aug. 7. Legislators are concerned kids will not be able to tell the eatable chocolate from the small toy included in the hollow eggs, which sell by the million in Germany. Surprise egg manufacturer Ferrero, which has made the child-pleasing treats since 1974, said the ban would be unjustified since the toys are all enclosed in yellow capsules. Bildunterschrift:
