For Better or (Curry) Wurst

There's nothing quite like a currywurst when the hunger pangs strike. Germans consume rather a lot of the fatty sausages smothered in creamy, tangy curry sauce and ketchup. And yes - you do want fries with that. A new study released on Monday, Sept. 8 shows that 80.2 percent of German men consider food such as currywurst, kebabs and hamburgers to be integral parts of their diets. The report by the Society for Consumption Research shows that eight out of ten German men don't think about the calories they consume and freely partake of fast foods with a clear conscience.
