Black Bread and Champagne - Germans on the Queen Mary II
The port of Brooklyn. Betty and Isabelle need to get a move on. In just a few minutes the hostesses will be welcoming 2,600 passengers aboard the Queen Mary II, the second largest passenger ship in the world today. For nine days, Betty and Isabelle will be responsible for looking after 800 German guests on the luxury liner. The film shows the strenuous but eventful daily routine on board a ship that ranks as one of the largest movable objects built by man.
