Locals Leap Blazes at Midsummer Festival in Estonia

Don't burn your feet when jumping over the fire!

What better way to celebrate the longest day of the year than with a big party? In Estonia, midsummer’s day is called Jaanipäev.

It’s the occasion for a special celebration. The night before, people gather with family and friends to drink, dance, and sing songs until the sun comes up. It’s also a day filled with legends, traditions, and a bit of romance.
