Rising food, water and energy prices have been causing increasing problems in the past few months. In connection with the adverse effects of climate change, the challenge to help the rising number of poor people is becoming more and more important.

International experts, activist and government representatives recently discussed ways of reducing poverty in the wake of Climate Change. The conference was organised by the NGO ‘Germanwatch’.
