A Palestinian-born German citizen has found an unconventional way to promote inter-religious understanding.

Jalil Schwarz has lived in Germany for more than five decades, but also remains a Palestinian in his heart. His personal mission: improving relations between Jews, Christians and Muslims in Ramie, Israel, the town of his birth. His unconventional project and its unusual financing have attracted attention in his second home, Cologne.
